This year United Springs will invest around € 1mln in new equipment. The major investment, a Bihler GRM NC recently acquired, will extend the capabilities of the Hengelo plant.

This new machine will give United Springs more opportunities in serving the clients’ needs. This multi-sliding machine, for automated production of flat springs and wire forms, will reduce the set up times of the current production orders by 50%-75%.

Also the increased production speed, by approx. 50%, enables United Springs to enter the medium volume market as well as serving existing customers with reduced annual quantities.
